Mindfulness Monday – Eckhart Tolle

“Be the silent watcher of your thoughts and behavior.

You are beneath the thinker.

You are the stillness beneath the mental noise.

You are the love and joy beneath the pain.”

~ Eckhart Tolle

“In today’s rush,

we all think too much-

seek too much-

want too much-

and forget about the joy

of just being.”

~Eckhart Tolle

“The ultimate truth of

who you are is not

I am this or

I am that, but

I AM”

~Eckhart Tolle

  1. These are the lessons I was forced to ponder and learn when I could barely DO anymore. I had to learn to just BE. 🙂
Sometimes I forget and need to be reminded that it’s okay to just exist well.

    • I need to be reminded of that often. I’m glad you are feeling better, enough so you can DO a little.
but always remember to just BE too. xoxo 🙂

  2. Reblogged this on Lorraine's frilly freudian slip and commented:

I’ve been mentally, emotionally, and spiritually away from blogging, and this past eight days, physically away from my computer and cell phone.
The second quote resonates soundly; I remember an older country gentleman who told me that people in the city are “in a rush to get nowhere.”
