        Oh, you did! You did! They are such a beautiful flower. I love that they come in various colors and shades and that you can dry them and they will last till they get too dusty to bear–LOL! 😉

        1. I think.its cool that their color is determined by what’s in the soil.
          My mother used to put nails in the ground near the roots. The nails would rust, and her hydrangeas were purple.
          True story.

    Thanks for the reminder! I handed a tray to a stranger behind me queuing for food, and I saw the lady’s face was a little surprised. She even asked if that was for her. I said yes and smiled.
    Small acts like these really do make me feel happy inside.

    1. Reminds me of a quote by Ann Frank. “No one has ever become poor by giving.”
      Just as no one has ever become sad by being kind.
      It’s the small acts of kindness that make a huge impact on people’s lives.
      I don’t think you needed a reminder. A lovely story.

      I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to you. I wrote this yesterday and just saw that I never hit send. duh.
      I saw you found some posts that will work for you. I’m glad. I’m sending this along anyway, since I already wrote it. ha!

      How very sweet of you to think of me. Especially since I haven’t been posting a lot of informative posts recently, or getting over to other blogs very much. Don’t know why, but I’ve been doubting my writing ability…it’s not like I need to be a published author to write in my blog, silly me. I’ll get back to it.

      1. Thanks Wendy – and please don’t worry about response time. I was trying to support you not make you feel bad! Normally this would be plenty of time. I decided to edit rather than write last night so I just jumped in.

        Don’t doubt your writing “talent”, Wendy – your heart shines through brightly and that’s why people read you and want to. Don’t feel pressured to write when you don’t feel up to it either (or to comment). People take blogging breaks for all kinds of reasons. Friends may be concerned, but they will understand. I’ve never unfollowed anybody because the posted LESS – lol.
