I have tried this several times and then slip right back into mindless eating–LOL! Monks bless their food before they eat it. Eat slowly. Next thing I am eating while I am watching a youtube video. Great reminder.

I need to start doing this more than I do.Gratitude for those who planted and harvested and so forth. Gratitude to Mother Nature for covering the fields with sunshine and rain. So many thing to be grateful for.

Thich Nhat Hanh quotes rock! Definitely need to work on mindful eating. I’m good at it when I eat out or around other people, and awful when I’m on my own (which is the majority of the time).x
