Out Of Touch

I’m posting this from my phone because my computer is on the fritz. More specifically, the power cord isn’t being very powerful.

Microsoft is sending me a replacement, but it will be 8 – 10 business days before it arrives. So I’m already behind on posting and will be even more behind next week. Thankfully Lorraine was able to share quotes about gratitude on Mindfulness Monday….I’m so grateful.

For the next week I plan to take a much needed break from technology….except for texting and TV and maybe reading blogs and Intagram…oh who am I kidding? I’m a slave to screens. 😂🤣😅

Come on power cord work darn you!!

Sigh, I’ll see you in a week, or a little more.

About Wendy

I'm taking a journey learning to live a mindful and happy life, while living with Chronic Illnesses. I'm a bit of an idealist. I want everyone to be happy and think everyone should want the same for others. I don’t understand mean people. I cry easily and laugh often. I love cartoons, Dr. Who, and my wonderful husband...not in that order!

  1. Nooooo, lack of laptop would lead me to a mini-meltdown I think. I can go without Facebook and such no problem, but it’s the ‘connectiveness’, the need to be busy and do emails and blog and everything else that would make me itch if I couldn’t. That said, a break sounds like a good idea, well, a partial break for you at least. I think a lot of us are slaves to screens now, for better or for worse!! In the mean time, don’t worry too much about the blog or posting because we’ll all still be here when you’re fully back up and running.
Hope you get that replacement from Microsoft as expected! 🙂
