I can’t Sleep.

It’s almost 5am and I’m not asleep yet.

Yes, I did take something.  Unfortunately, it did not work.

All of us who have Meniere’s know that sleep deprivation is not a good thing.  I’ve already been having signs that a big attack is probably on its way, and now I can’t sleep.  Dang it.

I was in bed for a while, and I thought I was nearly asleep once, but then I got the hiccups.  I get the hiccups a lot.  After, they finally subsided, I couldn’t fall asleep.  So finally, I just got up.

I guess I will go and try again.  If I can fall asleep, I hope I just sleep the day away tomorrow.  : )   Maybe I’ll feel better when I wake up.  *fingers crossed here*

I will go and try again.

About Wendy

I'm taking a journey learning to live a mindful and happy life, while living with Chronic Illnesses. I'm a bit of an idealist. I want everyone to be happy and think everyone should want the same for others. I don’t understand mean people. I cry easily and laugh often. I love cartoons, Dr. Who, and my wonderful husband...not in that order!

  1. We should have called each other since I wasn’t sleeping either! I didn’t want to take anything though since I had the other night and it scares the daylights out of me thinking that I may become dependent on them. So I tossed. I turned. I let our dog out (too funny, he has diarrhea, must run in the family :)) He is a boxer and very cute but can be quite high maintenance since he is just 7 months old and eats everything! Then of course it makes him sick.
I am hoping tonight will be a better night for all of us!

    • It would have been nice to talk to someone who was up at all hours too, but I think there would have been 2 things standing in our way. 1. I can’t hear on the phone right now. and 2. I think we are in different time zones. LOL

Poor puppy. I remember when Sandy was a puppy, even though I got her when she was around a year old, she still acted like a puppy. Chewing on everything. Especially my shoes, and oh my goodness, I could never leave a bra within her reach because she loved to chew the underwire out. It’s funny now, but it was expensive then. : P

She’s so old now, (17), but she’s still full of energy. She chases the cat, goes crazy when it’s time to eat, follows me everywhere…..she does like to shorten her walks a little, but that’s ok with me too.

I hope you got more sleep! w
