Mindfulness Monday: Kindness

My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.

~ Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dali Lama

Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.

~ Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dali Lama

This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.

~ Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dali Lama.

Wendy needs some quiet time, this Monday, to recover from a migraine.

Given the season, kindness seems an appropriate theme.

And the Dalai Lama speaks so eloquently and mindfully of it.

Be kind to yourself.

  1. Hello, Wendy!

…I met a bishop once in the North East of India. A few words that he said have always remained in my mind: “There’s never been a day when I have not felt tired.” …Similarly, in my own life, it seems as if there’s never been a day when I have felt entirely fresh; – lots of aches and pains, always!

Kindness Always helps, and it IS the kindness of many that helps me get by.

Hope and Pray You are rid of Your migraine by now, and Remain Well.

    Love and Regards. 🙂 Yesudas.
