Mindfulness Monday – Pain

“Radical acceptance means feeling sorrow and pain
without resisting.
It means feeling desire or dislike
without judging ourselves
or being driven to act on it.”

~Tara Brach

“Be the silent watcher of your thoughts and behavior.
You are beneath the thinker.
You are the mental noise.
You are the love and joy beneath the pain.”

~ Eckhart Tolle

      1. I so wish I could do something for you! The high pain will pass and you will get to the regular pain. Not much comfort but it’s something… I am going post these quotes by my desk, I need them everyday. Get through this one Wen! Thinking about you, my friend. ~Kim

        1. Mainly right now, I hurt my back. Most everything is better. Mostly, it’s my darn back.
I hope you are having a low pain day.
I have a friend coming for a visit. Exciting, but nervous. I don’t want to be in pain the whole time she’s here.
We never want that, but it happens doesn’t it? I’ll persevere.

          1. Sending good healing thoughts your way. Enjoy your friend Wen, she’ll be happy to see you no matter what. I always tell the people I visit there better be dirty dishes in the sink, dust on the coffee table and if the floor is vacuumed I am leaving cause you need a nap!
