Mindfulness Monday – Acceptance

I am perfect

Acceptance of one’s life has nothing to do with resignation;
it does not mean running away from the struggle. On the contrary,
it means accepting it as it comes,
with all the handicaps of heredity,
of suffering,
of psychological complexes and injustices.

~ Paul Tournier

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes.
Don’t resist them;
that only creates sorrow.
Let reality be reality.
Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.

~ Lao Tzu

    1. I seek out the the post according to how I feel. Something happened this past week that made me think of acceptance and how important it is. So I search for Mindfulness quotes acceptance, then I read a lot!!
      That’s my process. It’s actually a lot of work. ☺

    1. Thank you.
      Resignation has bad connotations. You resign yourself that you will always be bad off… that kind if thing. Yeah. What you often do. 😦
      Acceptance is neutral. Things just are. Accept that things are the way they are, right now. Things may change, still you accept it. It’s neither good or bad, it just is.
      I’d love to see you on this end of the spectrum. It has made all the difference for me.
